‘A Healthy Smile is Always in Style’

Lijia Wang, a fourth grader at Williams Elementary School beat out 600 contestants to win first place in an art contest sponsored by the Santa Clara County Dental Society. The contest was started to build awareness among schoolchildren about dental hygiene.

The theme for the art contest was “A Healthy Smile is Always in Style”. Lijia came up with the winning poster which earned her the 1st place prize: a BMX bike and helmet.
