Pirate puppet show—‘The Pie-Rats Of Penn’s Aunt’ comes to the library

Shiver me timbers, Matey! Here’s a swashbuckling tale sure to please one and all! The P&T Puppet Theatre will perform the fun and action-packed show, “Pirates!” This is a pirate story for one and all, featuring pie-rats, a sea serpent, a sword fight, and more.

Aunt Carrie Bean has the finest tea room in all of England. Pies are her specialty. The trouble begins when pirates, pie-rats to be more precise, raid her tea room. When they kidnap Nellie as well, Aunt Carrie’s nephew Penn springs into action. With the help of a sea serpent, he rescues Nellie, defeats Capt. Roguefort in a sword fight, and saves the day! Features the music of Gilbert and Sullivan. This program is part of the month-long celebration of the young child.
