38 th annual Presentation High School Scholarship Benefit Fashion Show to be held April 2

Fashion will take center stage at the upcoming 38 th annual Presentation High School Scholarship Benefit Fashion Show, Celebrating America. Preparations for the event are entering their final phases, with the selection of models and hostesses, including several Almaden girls.

Appearing on the runway will be Presentation seniors, faculty, parents, board members, alumnae and senior boys from area high schools, modeling the latest fashions from top name area retailers. Fashion partners include Aeropostale, Barbarella, Cache, Club Monaco, Eddie Bauer, Lucky Brand, Lucy, Michal Negrin, Talbots, Tommy Bahama, Eli Thomas Menswear and Formalwear and Winchester Western Wear. Preston Wynne of Saratoga and James Craig Haircolor and Design, also of Saratoga, will be providing model makeup and model hair styling for the third year.

Presentation's annual fashion show raises money to provide financial aid for students attending the all-female private Catholic high school, located in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose. Last year's show contributed $70,000 to the school's financial aid fund.

Celebrating America will be held Friday, April 2 at San Jose McEnery Convention Center. Fashion show chairs Linda Pfahnl and Marge Scheitrum are excited to announce that patrons of this year's event will have two opportunities to enjoy the gala—a luncheon show as well as the evening show and dinner dance. Both will feature the fashion show's signature segment, The Grand Finale, where senior models and hostesses will be escorted down the runway by their fathers. Lunch tickets are $75 per person; dinner tickets are $125 per person.

The evening event (black-tie optional) will feature celebrity hosts Brent and Laura Garcia Cannon, NBC11 news anchors, and dancing to David Ladd's Downtown Allstars. For more information on the event, call the Presentation High School Development Office at (408) 265-5110.

Presentation High School is a Catholic college preparatory founded in 1962 by the Sisters of the Presentation to educate young women to their full potential in mind, body and spirit. The school has a current enrollment of 750 students.
