AVAC announces partnership with Kain Performance Multi-Sport
Masters National Triathlon champion and XTERRA world champion coach at AVAC

The Almaden Valley Athletic Club (AVAC), the Bay Area's premier, award-winning family facility that offers total health, fitness and wellness programs for all ages, today announced a partnership with Kain Performance Multi-Sport to become the exclusive personal training and multi-sport coaching facility for its clients. The partnership between AVAC and Kain Performance will provide fitness enthusiasts and competitive performance athletes with the means to satisfy their physical training needs at AVAC's fully equipped, state-of-the-art fitness facility.

Under the expertise of coaches Pete and Shari Kain, athletes will train at AVAC's 6,000-square-foot facility using the latest fitness and training equipment, including more than 70 pieces of cardio equipment, a full free-weight and resistance training area, a series of group exercise classes, and a 25-yard outdoor swimming pool. Kain Performance focuses on endurance and core strengthening exercises to provide athletes with the highest level of training.

Pete has been an active triathlete for the past 20 years and was Overall Masters National Triathlon Champion in 2003 and named Triathlete of the Year in 2002 by USA Triathlon. Shari has been a professional cyclist for the past 15 years and was an alternate on the 2000 Olympic Mountain Bike Team. Kain Performance was chosen Best Of The Bay by CitySports Magazine as one of the top triathlon training organizations in the Bay Area.

“Kain Performance coaches a team of 75 athletes, ranging from ages 13 to 65, all striving to improve efficiencies in the three phases of triathlons: running, biking and swimming.
