Coroner’s Case

6000 Block of Montoro Drive
Officers responded to the 6000 block of Montoro Drive in regard to a coroner’s case. The family awoke this morning to find the victim (SMA/63 years) not breathing. Fire and paramedics were on the scene and pronounced death.

Coroner’s Case

1000 block of Bret Knoll Ct.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Bret Knoll Court in regard to a coroner’s case. The spouse awoke this morning to find the victim (SMA/78 years) not breathing. Fire and paramedics were on the scene and pronounced death.

Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm

1000 block of Coleman Avenue
A 22-year-old male subject thought the roommate’s shotgun was unloaded and pulled the trigger while pointing the weapon toward the floor. The shotgun discharged and went through the floor into the neighbor’s residence where a 22-month-old child’s bedroom was located. The shot landed four feet from the crib. The child was sleeping with the parents at the time and no injuries were sustained. The suspect had been drinking and was subsequently arrested. The shotgun was taken into evidence.

Armed Robbery

4900 block of Almaden Expressway
The suspect(s) entered the business and fled with an unknown amount of money. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Attempt to Locate for SVDPS

3400 block of Outlook Ct.
SVDPS requested assistance from SJPD in locating and arresting a suspect for brandishing a gun and terrorist threats. Upon arrival, units set up a perimeter around the residence. A call was placed into the residence. The suspect exited and was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was turned over to SVDPS.

Coroner’s Case

5500 block of Camden Ave.
An officer responded to a coroner’s case in the 5500 block of Camden Ave. Fire personnel were on the scene and pronounced death. The 85-year-old female victim had a history of coronary. The coroner was notified.
