CRIME STOPPER OF THE WEEK

Carjacking

On Jan. 30 at around 5:25 p.m., a carjacking and robbery occurred in the parking lot between Painter Elementary and Sheppard Middle schools in the Alum Rock District of San Jose. The victim, a teacher, was walking to her car when the suspect threw her to the ground, injuring her. The suspect and an unknown female associated with him got into the victim’s car and drove off. The car has been recovered. The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male approximately 18-20 years old.
