Armadillo Willy’s celebrates 20th anniversary

Larisa Goltzer of Sunnyvale (left) accepts Armadillo Willy’s Twentieth Anniversary “Next Generation of Ribs” Contest Grand Prize from restaurant founder, John Berwald (right). The brief ceremony was the culmination of many special activities that took place throughout 2003 in honor of the company’s twenty-year milestone. The prize, a rib dinner a week for four for twenty years, will be enjoyed by Larisa and family, many friends and perhaps even their children’s children!

Explains Berwald, “The communities where we have restaurants have been very good to us over the years…and this 20th anniversary (has been) a way to have a lot of fun, connect with our customers and make the Armadillo Willy’s experience even more satisfying.
