Hollywood in the hills

Big Basin State Park was the backdrop recently for the film “The Tripper.” The film, directed by David Arquette,
is about a logger who kills hippies aided by his dog.

The filmmakers placed an ad in a the Santa Cruz Sentinal newspaper requesting extras with tattoos and body piercings. They had 300 people show up at the casting call.
