Use the Internet to arrange to donate
blood at a convenient location

During the years I worked at IBM, I frequently donated blood when the Red Cross mobile unit came to STL lab. After leaving IBM, I seldom donated because I didn’t like to drive to the Red Cross to donate.

Now I’ve discovered that I can get online at www.beadonor.com, click on “FIND A DRIVE” at the top of the page, enter my zip code in the field provided to locate a mobile Red Cross unit in our area, select a time for my appointment at the location I choose, and even get a map if I need it. I then receive an e-mail from the Red Cross confirming my appointment. It is wonderful to be able once again to so easily donate blood and help someone who needs blood. I hope your readers will check out www.beadonor.com and see how easily and conveniently they can arrange to donate blood.
