Vandalism

SYNOPSIS: During the weeks at the end of 2003 and continuing in 2004, a number of vandalism crimes have occurred in the Almaden and Santa Teresa areas of San Jose. The incidents occur during the evening and early morning hours. High-end priced vehicles are targeted with broken windshields and windows. There is no pattern to the vandalism and there are no suspects identified.

CRIME STOPPERS is a cooperative effort between the local media, San Jose Police Department, and a citizen board of directors. Once a week, an unsolved police case is presented to the public. Citizens are urged to call 947-STOP if they have information on any other serious crime. You do not give your name, you are given a code number and if the tip results in an arrest you receive a reward of up to $1,000. NO ONE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE.
