Councilmember Pyle stated, “Since 2003 the ABA has played an integral role in the continued success of small businesses and local companies in District 10, and I am proud to commend this wonderful organization for their continued service to both the businesses and residents of Almaden and Blossom Valley.”
Founded in June 2003 by former Vice-Mayor Pat Dando, the ABA is an association of companies, professional firms, and local business leaders located and doing business in the beautiful Almaden and Blossom Valley area of San Jose. The ABA has continued to establish prosperous and long lasting business relationships with the District 10 community. Most recently, the ABA raised over $30,000 to sponsor the purchase of new books, furnishings, fixtures, equipment and technology for the “Children’s Storytime Area” of the new Almaden Branch Library and Community Center.
“It was a great honor to have the Almaden Business Association recognized for our community service by the City of San Jose,” said Rich De La Rosa, ABA’s board president. “It truly is a personal privilege to be associated with such a wonderful group of business people who care about the community we live in.”
