Jim Beall holds open house

District 24 Assemblymember Jim Beall held an open house on Friday, Jan. 19 at his new office at the Paseo de San Antonio in downtown San Jose. The office was nearly too small to accommodate all the people, but not so big that the new assembly member couldn’t find time to chat with all of those that attended. Above, he talks with Lourdes Pollard, the food service director for InnVision, who also works with the Phoenix Data Center to provide free information for food, shelter, housing, meals and groceries.

More than 250 attended the three-hour open house. Among the political names in the guestbook are Mayor Chuck Reed, District 10 Councilwoman Nancy Pyle, Saratoga Councilwoman Kathleen King, Campbell Mayor Dan Furtado, Campbell Councilmember Evan Lowe, Sunnyvale Vice Mayor Tony Spitaleri, Santa Clara County Supervisor Liz Kniss, Randy Okamura from San Jose Evergreen Community College and a number of others.
