Giving back to the community

Almaden’s Krystal Woodworth found a way to give back during a tough economy by donating 8 inches of her hair to Children With Hair Loss. Last week she donated the hair, which was cut at Hairs Inn, to the organization, which is a resource for all children with medically related hair loss. The group has a goal to help children whose families may not have the means of obtaining the hair they want or need so that the children can improve their outlook and build their confidence. The organization collects all types of hair including gray and color-treated.
