Next Coyote Valley Specific Plan Task Force meeting to be held Jan. 22

The next Coyote Valley Specific Plan (CVSP) Task Force meeting is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 22 at City Hall in Wing Rooms 118 - 120, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Parking is available at the City Hall garage; the entrance is located on Sixth Street between Santa Clara Street and San Fernando Street. The discussion will be a review and comment session on the initial draft of the Specific Plan. Agenda and meeting materials will be posted on the CVSP Web site, www.sanjoseca.gov/coyotevalley/ in the upcoming week.

police auditor to hold community forum Jan. 18


A community forum addressing what is and isn’t working and what can be improved in police relations with the community will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18 at East Side Union High School District administrative offices. The forum is sponsored by the city of San Jose Human Rights Commission & the independent police auditor and will feature guest MC Roberta Gonzales, CBS 5 weather anchor.

The forum will be held at the East Side Union High School District administrative offices, 830 North Capital Avenue at Mabury Road, San Jose.
