Community leaders in Campbell are issuing a call for help for an injured Iraqi War veteran and his
family.

| Wounded Iraqi War veteran Warren Hardy and his wife Gina are having a hard time making ends meet. Here they pose in their Campbell apartment with their three-year-old daughter Autumn. Gina gave birth to fraternal triplet boys last month. |
Warren Hardy enlisted in the U.S. Army shortly after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. In February of 2004, Warren was deployed to Tikrit with the 1st Infantry Division. While on patrol, his armored personnel carrier struck an anti-tank mine. Hardy suffered a concussive traumatic brain injury and damage to his spinal cord and vertebrae as a result of the explosion.
Following Hardy’s release from the Army, he and his wife Gina moved back to Silicon Valley, where Hardy had been employed as a software engineer. They have been residing in Campbell along with their 3-year old daughter, Autumn. Hardy is still undergoing treatment for his injuries and has not been able to return to work.
In November, Gina gave birth to triplets. Preston, Erik and Thomas are still in the hospital but are expected home sometime before Christmas.
Concerned citizens and community leaders are rallying support for the Hardy family including Vice Mayor Dan Furtado, Campbell Police Captain David Dehaan and Home Church Associate Pastor Jimmy Zien.
The Hardys are in need of financial assistance in paying for car repairs, their monthly apartment rent and utility bills, as well as money for formula, diapers and clothing for the triplets.
If you are interested in helping the Hardys you may send checks to the Warren Hardy Family Fund, PO Box 1541, Campbell CA 95009-1541. One hundred percent of all donations will go directly to the Hardys for their expenses.
