Almaden’s Kamal Ariss elected to Charity Ball Foundation
board
Almaden Valley resident Kamal Ariss has been elected to the
Silicon Valley Charity Ball Foundation’s board of directors.
Ariss, a project executive at Gilbane Building Company, is responsible
for the company’s sales and operations in the Bay Area. A
former Texan, Ariss has more than 20 years experience in the commercial
construction industry and has built major projects throughout the
U.S. Ariss’ notable local projects include the Dr. Martin
Luther King Library, the Fourth Street Parking Garage and renovations
to the San Jose Repertory Theatre. Gilbane Building Company was
chosen to oversee construction and renovation of San Jose Airport.
Ariss has a bachelor of science and a master’s in urban planning
from Texas A&M. He and his family—wife Traci and children
Conner and Maya—moved to the Almaden area three years ago.
